‘Giver' Album Launch
KLP, real name Kristy Lee Peters, is a talented force of the Australian music industry, with credentials that cement her reputation as a multi-faceted industry heavyweight. Between writing and recording her own music, co-writing for other musicians and collaborating with local and international artists, KLP also found time to host the country’s biggest Dance Music radio program, triple j’s House Party every Saturday night for 5 years. She left in late 2018 to focus on her own releases including her debut album ‘Giver' — which was launched in partnership with Tropicool at Sydney’s hottest new night spot Pamela’s, downstairs at Prince of York.
Tropicool were brought on board to find the right venue for the launch, source brand partnerships, influencer outreach, event flow and overall event management.
A packed crowd enjoyed canapés and a complimentary drink on arrival thanks to Koyomi. The night flowed effortlessly as KLP answered questions about her album from triple j host Veronica Milsom, before dazzling attendees with a very special live acoustic performance. ‘Giver’ was then played in full, before guest DJs provided entertainment late into the night and guests enjoyed the luxurious venue surroundings.
